Blackmores is an Australian health supplements company founded in the 1930s by an English immigrant Maurice Blackmore (1906-1977). He was responsible for opening one of Australia's first health food stores in Brisbane. By June 2020, Blackmores has been an ASX 200 company with a market capitalisation of $1.1 billion. The company employs 843 people to manufacture an extensive range of vitamin, mineral and herbal supplements in 17 markets across the Asia Pacific region. In 2017, Blackmores was inducted into the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame.
